Actor Rahul Roy, 52, who was admitted to hospital after suffering a brain stroke, is being given speech therapy today. He has been admitted to a private hospital at Mira Road. He was earlier admitted to Nanavati Hospital, from where he was discharged on December 8. Rahul has mentioned in his social media post that he has been in the hospital for 19 days.

Rahul’s brother-in-law Romir Sen said the treatment was now being given at a private hospital. It will take a few more weeks for them to fully recover.

Sister is taking strict diet- Rahul
On Tuesday, Rahul Roy shared a picture of himself on social media showing himself having breakfast at the hospital. He also shared a photo of the check at the hospital. He also shared a photo with his sister Priyanka. Rahul wrote with the photo – 19th day in the hospital and enjoying breakfast. I am on the way to recovery. My doctor and my sister have complete control over my diet.

Rahul had suffered a brain stroke during the shooting
Rahul Roy became an overnight superstar with the 1990 musical hit Aashiqui. He was recently in Kargil to shoot a LAC film based on Galvan Valley. This time he had a brain stroke. He was later rushed to a hospital in Srinagar. He was later admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. He also stayed in the ICU for a few days.
