“We are excited to launch our first laptop on the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G computing platform in India, which enables excellent productivity and portability with multi-day battery life, fast 5G connectivity and beyond,” Sudhir Goel Acer India’s Chief Business Officer said in a statement.

It has a 360-degree hinge, which allows users to flexibly switch the screen to comfortably read or type a document in flip mode or to take notes in the touch screen mode of the device. The new Spin 7 offers several days of battery life without reaching a power cord. The new Spin 7 has Windows 10 Pro that includes built-in protections for data, equipment and people, providing commercial information and personal identities even on lost or stolen devices.

With Windows Hello, users can instantly access Windows 10 devices using a fingerprint for added security and convenience. The laptop uses the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G computing platform that supports 5G connectivity on both mm and sub-6 GHz wave frequencies. The Spin 7 chassis also has the Acer Active Stylus, a rechargeable stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity that uses Wacom AES 1.0 to give users an authentic sketch or note-taking experience on the device’s touch screen.
