Anupamaa and Kundali Bhagya continue to lead the TRP chart

We are on the last day of the year, and the TRP ratings of the first 5 most watched shows from December 19-25 are out. Like the last two consecutive weeks, Anupamaa and Kundali Bhagya managed to occupy the first 2 places.

Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey, the protagonist of Anupamaa, continue to grab all the eyeballs and is number one this week as well. The trials and tribulations of Anupamaa, Vanraj and Kavya (Madalsa Sharma) are to everyone’s liking.

On the other hand, the Kundali Bhagya of Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar kept their loyal audience intact with the song for the honeymoon. Karan and Preeta’s honeymoon, pampered by Mahira and Sherlyn, kept everyone involved and entertained.

In the third and fourth spot we have two shows, which premiered a few months ago. And surprisingly, the audience was very interested in the story – Imli and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein are enjoying their place like last week.

Interestingly, Anupamaa, Imli and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein happen to be remakes of the Bengali shows Sremoyee, Ishti Kutum and Kusum Dola.

There is a slight change in the fifth place. Longest-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah dropped out of fifth place this week. Kumkum Bhagya of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia took over this week.
