President Shiromani Akali Dal, Sukhbir Singh Badal, said on Tuesday that “BJP is today the real ‘tukde tukde’ gang in the country.” The former ally of the BJP said that the saffron party “divides the country into pieces, putting one community on another. So desperate is the unscrupulous power to take the communal polarization route and set the country on fire. ”
Speaking to the Bathinda media, Sukhbir Badal said: “The BJP has put Hindus against Muslims for the first time. Now, he is determined to resume that evil game and play the same tragedy in the Punjab. He conspires to put our peace-loving Hindu brothers in the Punjab against their Sikh brothers, with whom they have shared strong blood ties for centuries. The BJP wants to replace those blood ties with bloodshed. “
Badal said the BJP “resorted to dangerous conspiracy theories to sabotage the atmosphere of peace and community harmony only to achieve petty political goals.”
Speaking about agricultural laws, he said: “These were made by those who have never done agriculture and are now teaching farmers the benefits of these laws. People from AAP also joined the BJP. “
Badal said the whole country, except the BJP, gratefully acknowledges our debt to our patriotic farmers and soldiers. “The BJP is challenging people to reject this debt. He remains so ungrateful to farmers that he considers them anti-national. Today they are farmers. Nobody knows, the BJP could even say the same thing about soldiers tomorrow if it suits them. “
Later, in a statement issued by the SAD headquarters in Chandigarh, Sukhbir Badal said: “SAD considers it its national duty to warn its compatriots against the BJP’s desperate and destructive game plan in Punjab. This party is so desperate for power that it has no doubt in making the Punjabis thirst for blood and destroy the fabric of unity and fraternal love that has been bequeathed to us by the great Guru Sahiban and the great saints and seers. such as Kabir Sahib, Baba Farid ji, Jaidev ji, Namdev ji and others. “
