CBSE classes 10 and 12 board exams 2021 to begin on May 4. Check the complete program

Union Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” announced on Thursday the dates for the CBSE class 10 and class 12 board exams for 2021. The CBSE class 10 and class 12 exams will start on May 4th. The examinations will be completed by June 10, the education minister said. The results for the class 10 and class 12 CBSE exams will be declared by July 15.

According to the country’s coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Education has postponed the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams earlier. Practical exams usually take place in January, and the theoretical exams start every year in February and end in March.

“As the situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic facing pupils / teachers and schools is unprecedented, CBSE, in order to provide a conducive environment for students for examinations and on the basis of feedback and consultations with various stakeholders, has decided the following:” , reads the official statement.

“Schools will be allowed to perform the practical / project / internal assessment of class X and class XII from March 1, 2021 until the last date of the theoretical exam in the same class,” the guide said.

CBSE class 10 and 12 board examinations will be conducted offline. The program has also been reduced due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. To reduce the spread of the virus, schools have been closed in India since March. They have been partially reopened in some states since October 15. However, several states have decided to keep them closed, given the growing number of infections.

More than 1.2 million students appeared for the 12th grade paintings, while more than 1.8 million appeared for the 10th grade exams conducted by the CBSE in 2020.

From the point of view of the coronavirus outbreak, the West Bengal Upper Secondary Education Council has rescheduled the dates for the 10th and 12th grade examinations for 2021. The West Bengal Secondary Education Council examinations will start on 1 June. The examinations of the commission of higher secondary education will take place starting with June 15.
