Holidays 2021 January in India: Here is the list Business news from India

The Reserve Bank of India has launched the list of bank holidays for 2021. All public and private sector banks in India remain closed on Sundays, as well as the second and fourth Saturdays.
On the occasion of the New Year, the bank will remain closed in Chennai, Aizawl, Gangtok, Imphal and Shillong. Apart from these places, the banks will remain operational in all other major cities from 1 January 2021.
According to the RBI’s 2021 bank holiday list, banks across the country will be closed in the next few days:
