The Reserve Bank of India has launched the list of bank holidays for 2021. All public and private sector banks in India remain closed on Sundays, as well as the second and fourth Saturdays.
On the occasion of the New Year, the bank will remain closed in Chennai, Aizawl, Gangtok, Imphal and Shillong. Apart from these places, the banks will remain operational in all other major cities from 1 January 2021.
