Reliance Jio has made serious allegations against its rivals in a letter to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Geo says that both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are campaigning against Geo under the guise of farmers’ movement. Xiao wrote a letter to TRAI demanding strict action. Geo has accused both the companies of supporting the farmers’ protest by porting their numbers to their networks through Mobile Number Portability (MNP). Which is why a large number of users are leaving Jio. However, both Airtel and VI have denied the allegations.

In a letter to Troy, Reliance Jio sent some photos of the anti-Jio campaign. In addition, he wrote in his letter that the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) campaign is being run by ANTEL and Vodafone Idea as part of the ongoing farmer movement in North India. In the guise of this campaign, agents, employees and retailers of companies are urging Geo customers to support their movement to port their Geo numbers to Vodafone Idea and Airtel.

Jio wrote the letter on December 10. However, the company says that Troy had earlier lodged a complaint in this regard on September 2, 2020, after which the publicity of both the companies is still going on.

“We categorically deny these baseless allegations,” Bharti Airtel said in a statement. Vodafone Idea said: “We believe in doing business ethically and Reliance’s allegations are baseless.
