IndiGo says some of its “servers were broken in early December”

NEW DELHI: Some servers of the largest airline in India Indigo were hacked earlier in December, the airline said on Thursday.
The extent of the data breach is confirmed and the airline has addressed the issue with the police, it said.
In a statement, the airline said: “We would like to make this revelation that some of our servers were subjected to a hacking incident earlier this month. We managed to restore our systems in a very short time, with minimal impact. ”
“There were certain segments of data servers that were breached. So there is a possibility that some internal documents may be uploaded by hackers on public sites and platforms. We realize the seriousness of the problem and continue to interact with all relevant ones. experts and law enforcement to ensure that the incident is investigated in detail, “he added.
The airline said it had managed to restore the systems in a very short time, with minimal impact.
