Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata Group and a well-known industrialist, has invested in Melit, a technology company. However, it is not clear how much Tata invests in the company.
Another big investment in two months
Ratan Tata has invested in two companies in the last two months. In early March, Ratan Tata hit out at Pritish Nandi Communications, who is active in the entertainment industry. Shares of the company had risen 10 per cent to close at Rs 23.55 after the news broke. Now Tata has invested in Melit.

Works in Melit Courier, Cargo, 3PL, Mail Room Management Digital Solutions and Postal Services. Many Tata Group companies and large corporates are its customers. The company aims to develop India’s first Digital Integrated Logistics and Mailroom Solutions (IL&&MMS) platform. To this end, the company wants to increase efficiency and at the same time, market delivery in the right way is possible.
