- Kolkata lost even after Russell’s stormy game
- … It was very frustrating when I came out
Andre Russell fired heavily at the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowlers on Friday. Russell scored 54 off 22 balls. Russell hit six sixes and three fours in his innings. Despite this innings, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lost by 18 runs.
In fact, Russell was caught on his web by Sam Curren. Russell realized that Curran would keep the ball off stump on the field. So Russell decided to shoot accordingly. But Crane came to the line of the leg stump and he got bold. Russell was disappointed when he was knocked out and he sat quietly on the steps of the dressing room and watched the match. They didn’t even remove helmets, pads and gloves.
