Xiaomi is hosting the launch of the Mi QLED 4K TV at 12:00 (noon) today. The event will be broadcast live on the company’s social channels, including YouTube.

Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV price in India (expected)

If we look at the recently released teasers and the Xiaomi Mi TV range available in China, Mi TV 5 Pro seems to be a potential candidate for today’s launch. The TV was launched on the Chinese market in November and is available with a starting price of CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 41,600). The price for India of the new Mi TV model is not yet revealed. However, it is likely to align with the Chinese price of the Mi TV 5 Pro, which comes in 55, 65 and 75-inch models.

The specifications for the launch of the Mi QLED 4K TV in India are not yet detailed. However, Xiaomi has already confirmed that the new model comes with a QLED display. The new TV model is also teased to have a 64-bit MediaTek SoC. The TV is likely to have HDR support and run on Android TV with the PatchWall launcher.

Mi TV 5 Pro was released with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The TV also has a Quantum Dot OLED screen that can offer up to 108% NTSC color gamut. There are two speakers of four 8 W units, as well as four microphones to allow multidimensional voice recognition.
