Launched Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 chipset: price, specifications


Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G has been officially listed on Samsung The Swedish site and this comes after the South Korean giant launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G model in India. The new 4G variant comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and replaces the one powered by the Exynos 990 chipset. Apart from the chipset, the rest of the specifications and design remain the same. The phone has a perforated selfie camera, triple rear cameras and several color options. Key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G include a 6.5-inch FHD + Super AMOLED display, 12 MP main camera, Android 11 operating system and a 4,500 mAh battery.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G Snapdragon 865 has not been officially revealed, but it is estimated that it will cost about EUR 630 (around Rs 57,100) in Germany.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G has a 6.5-inch FHD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a perforated cutout for the selfie snapper. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, but without the X55 modem, thus limiting connectivity to 4G LTE. It contains 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, but there are reports of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The phone runs the Android 11 operating system with a custom OneUI box out of the box and has a 4,500 mAh battery with 15 W fast charging support.

Switching to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G has triple cameras in the back, with a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-high angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it has a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a Type C USB port for charging and synchronizing data. There is an on-screen fingerprint sensor for security and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
