MG entered the Indian market with its SUV MG Hector. The company will update this popular car. With this update some new features will appear in this SUV. The car was launched in India in the year 2019. This car is well liked in India. The company is bringing life updates to the mill to keep selling its bestselling cars.
When will the Hector facelift model start?
The company will launch a facelift version of the car in January 2021. The company is going to use a new grille in its facelift model. This new grill is similar to Hector sold in the South American market. The company will also use 18-inch alloy wheels in the car which will improve the visual appeal of the car. The current model comes with a 17-inch wheel.
Hector Facelift: Engine and gearbox
The company can get Hector Facelift with 1.5 liter petrol, 2.0 liter diesel and 1.5 liter petrol mild-hybrid option. The 6-speed manual gearbox will be available for both petrol and diesel versions. The 1.5-liter petrol model will also come with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Current model engine and power
The hectare is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 143hp of power and 250Nm of torque. The diesel engine is a 2.0-liter, which generates 170hp of power and 350Nm of torque. Both engines have a 6-speed manual gearbox standard. The petrol engine also has a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox option. In addition to these two engines, the company has also offered a 48V mild hybrid variant of the petrol engine. The hybrid variant only comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox option.
