The first Huawei P50 Pro model suggests a smaller screen with a single hole

Huawei P50 Pro will be smaller than its predecessor, according to information from @OnLeaks, which published the first scary rendering of the future flagship. The display will measure 6.6 ”, which means that it has a size closer to P40 than P40 Pro (which has a 6.76” panel).

The left and right sides of the display still have a curve with a very narrow radius, but Huawei will not repeat the mistakes of the past – there are hardware buttons on the side.

This design keeps the phone as compact as possible. It will measure 159 mm high and 73 mm wide, which is again closer to the vanilla P40 than the Pro model (which is 162.9 x 75.5 mm, for comparison).

Not only is the diagonal smaller, the P50 Pro screen will have two other notable changes. First, the punch hole of the dual selfie camera will be replaced with a single smaller camera. Secondly, there will be a traditional headset, which replaces the acoustic display introduced with the P30 Pro.

According to a report by The Elec, the Huawei P50 Pro will use Samsung and LG OLED displays and will be powered by the Kirin 9000 chip (although it is still unclear whether TSMC has been authorized to trade with Huawei, but other companies have gotten the green light).
