The LG Wing update makes it easy to move applications between screens

LG has said goodbye to 2020, launching a new software update for Wing, which brings some nice improvements to the user experience. First, after installing the new software, you will be able to easily move an application between the two screens by swiping with three fingers.

In addition, the names of applications, widgets and folders are now displayed on the second home screen, the camera app receives support for scanning QR codes, a new screen appears if you skip the Wi-Fi menu in the Setup Wizard, the 5G icon is now white instead of gray and you will also get an extensive selection of wallpaper. Finally, the media commands will be displayed on the second screen.

The new version is the F100VM10d, at least for Verizon LG Wing units (the above change log information comes from that specific operator). After installation, you will also have the level of security patches from November 2020. We assume that, as usual, the launch is organized, so it may take some time for all units there to receive the new update. Obviously, Verizon seems to be the first operator to launch it, but others should follow – as well as, hopefully, unlocked units around the globe.
