The Uttar Pradesh government has finally transferred District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshkar, who came under discussion after the High Court questioned the handling of the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh. The government has also transferred 15 other IAS officers. As per the order issued by the state government, Hathras District Officer Praveen Kumar Lakshkar has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Mirzapur.

Uttar Pradesh Water Corporation Co-Managing Director Ramesh Ranjan will now be the District Magistrate of Hathras. In September last year, Lashkar came under fire for his alleged involvement in the gang-rape and death of a girl in the Chandpa area of ​​Hathras. The Allahabad High Court had taken cognizance of the fact that the administration had cremated the girl late last night without seeking permission from her own family, questioning Lakshkar’s conduct and asking the government to replace her.

However, the government, in its submission to the court, said that what Laxkar did was justified given the circumstances. However, he was replaced today. Besides, Gonda District Magistrate Nitin Bansal has been sent to Pratapgad in the same post. Noida Additional Chief Executive Officer Shruti has been given the new post of District Magistrate of Balrampur. She will succeed Krishna Karunesh, who has been appointed vice-president of the Ghaziabad Development Authority.

Special Secretary Medical Education Markandey Shahi has been appointed as Gonda District Magistrate and Ghaziabad Development Authority Vice-Chairman Kanchan Verma has been appointed as Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Lucknow. Fatehpur District Officer Sanjeev Singh has been posted at Chandauli, while Pratapgad District Officer Rupesh Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary, Sugar and Sugarcane Development.

Kushinagar District Magistrate Bhupendra Chaudhary has been given a new post as Special Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Development. Chandauli District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal has been sent to Mathura for the same post. He will replace Ram Mishra, who has been given the new post of special secretary in the state tax department. Apart from that, Special Secretary for Housing and Town Planning Apoorva Dubey has been posted as Fatehpur District Officer.

Sunil Kumar Verma, Controller, Legal Metrology Department and Special Secretary, Food and Logistics Department have been made District Magistrates, Auraiya. He will be succeeded by Abhishek Singh II who has been made Sonbhadra District Collector. Sonbhadra District Officer S Raj Lingam has been given a new posting at Kushinagar.
