Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro could finally launch in 2021

Xiaomi recently unveiled the Mi 11 in China, its latest smartphone in the flagship Mi series. However, unlike last year, the phone was the only launch in the series and an expected version of the Mi 11 Pro was nowhere to be found. Shortly after its launch, speculations about the Mi 11 Pro launched in 2021 began to appear on the web and now we finally have our first concrete proof of the existence of the Mi 11 Pro.

A recent disassembly of the latest MIUI 12 Gallery application by XDA revealed the mention of Mi 11 Pro. Moreover, the code in the app also suggests that the Mi 11 Pro will have a curved screen. While other specifications are not yet revealed, we have at least one confirmation that the Mi 11 Pro is on its way in 2021. While we wait for the Pro version, here is a recap of the Mi 11 standard.

Specifications Xiaomi Mi 11

Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 6.81 inch 3200 × 1440 AMOLED panel with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC and will be available in several storage configurations. The entire unit will be powered by a 4,600 mAh battery with 55 W fast charging, 50 W wireless fast charging and 10 W reverse charging.

Mi 11 will also have stereo speakers with sound tuned by Harman Kardon. There is also an on-screen fingerprint sensor with a built-in heart rate sensor. The phone also supports NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and can connect to two Bluetooth headsets together. We expect the Pro model to continue these features.

Mi 11 has a triple rear camera configuration and a single perforated front camera. The rear setup includes a 108-megapixel main camera sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization). There’s also a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera sensor and a 5-megapixel Macro sensor. On the front is a 20 megapixel selfie camera. However, the future Mi 11 Pro could have a more powerful camera configuration. We should see more details on the surface of Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro closer to the release date.
