DisplayMate has completed its tests of the Xiaomi Mi 11 display and considered it an excellent panel – it has obtained a final score of A +, the highest in the DM rating system, obtaining a Very good or higher rating in almost all tests performed .
The display has an almost perfect calibration when running in sRGB or DCI-P3 modes, it has a 100% perfect coverage of those color ranges in those modes. Spectra for Auto Color and sRGB and DCI-P3 modes
The Mi 11 panel is also very bright, with High Brightness mode reaching 996 nits at 100% average pixel level (APL, 100% means that the entire screen looks white). It increases to 1,221 nits at 50% APL (half of the screen is white). The sRGB and DCI-P3 modes exceed 505 nits. The display has excellent readability even in strong ambient light conditions, due to its low reflectivity.
The colors remain perfectly accurate even when viewing the display at an angle – at 30 °, the white dot changed a negligible 0.5 JNCD, while the red channel deviated to 3.8 JNCD, giving it only a good evaluation in all tests). At that angle, the display brightness was reduced by only 29% (DM notes that a typical LCD loses more than 50%).
